Overview

PowerPlan is seeking a Marketing Operations Manager to own the operational backbone of our marketing engine. As an individual contributor, you'll ensure marketing programs run reliably, data flows cleanly from first touch through revenue, and leadership can clearly see what's working and why.

You'll work hands-on in Salesforce, Pardot / Account Engagement, GA4, and WordPress, owning the email, MQL, automation, and nurture-program levers that drive pipeline. This role is one of three interconnected hires forming the backbone of our lead-to-revenue process — you own the marketing side, defining what gets measured, how leads flow, and what triggers a stage change, while Revenue Operations and our Salesforce Business Systems team build and support the rest.

About PowerPlan

PowerPlan helps the companies that power the world unlock greater value from their infrastructure investments. We combine deep industry expertise, trusted technology, and AI-driven innovation to help capital-intensive organizations manage the financial complexity of their assets with confidence.

We're in the middle of one of the most significant transformations in our history. Decades of proven functionality are being reimagined on a modern SaaS foundation, while AI becomes central to how we build, deliver, and evolve our products. The next generation of the PowerPlan platform is being designed right now. Join us, and you'll have the opportunity to influence the technology, engineering practices, and capabilities that will shape it for years to come.

Responsibilities

Your Impact

  • Standardize campaign execution in Pardot / Account Engagement, turning ad hoc builds into a repeatable process with reusable templates.
  • Own MQL-to-SQL handoffs in Salesforce, with documented scoring rules, consistent routing, and clear attribution.
  • Build the dashboards that separate meaningful metrics from vanity metrics across Salesforce, Pardot, and GA4.
  • Keep the WordPress website campaign-ready, with pages, forms, and landing pages that convert and track cleanly.
  • Manage SEO and paid search agency performance, tracking spend and pipeline contribution against clear KPIs.
  • Identify and enable AI capabilities across the martech stack to improve optimization and reporting.

What Success Looks Like

Within six months, your campaigns run on standardized templates, your lead handoffs happen with fewer than 2% needing manual correction, and leadership trusts the dashboards you've built enough to make GTM decisions from them. You'll be the person who turns marketing data into a system others rely on, not just a report they read.

Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5 years of experience in marketing operations or marketing technology in a B2B environment.
  • A generalist background — you've owned multiple pieces of the marketing tech stack rather than one narrow specialty.
  • Salesforce experience is required for this role.
  • Certification in Pardot / Account Engagement.
  • Power-user fluency in Salesforce and Pardot / Account Engagement, including lifecycle management and reporting.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to distinguish meaningful metrics from vanity metrics.
  • Experience working with agencies across SEO, paid search, and analytics.

Education & Experience

  • Comfort working directly in WordPress for pages, forms, and landing pages is a strong plus and quickly learnable if you don't have it yet.
  • A mindset focused on accuracy, scalability, and continuous improvement.
