This role offers the chance to set technical direction for PowerPlan's mission-critical tax, accounting, and workflow platform, not just build within it. You'll move fluidly between hands-on development across .NET, and Azure and higher-altitude architecture conversations with SMEs and leadership, becoming a trusted technical authority across more than one domain of the platform.
Beyond your own delivery, you'll build a deliberate mentoring practice that raises the skill level of the developers around you, reducing the team's reliance on any single person for its hardest problems. It's an opportunity to shape both the platform's technical direction and the people who build it, in a high-trust, high-accountability engineering culture.
We're in the middle of one of the most significant transformations in our history. Decades of proven functionality are being reimagined on a modern SaaS foundation, while AI becomes central to how we build, deliver, and evolve our products. The next generation of the PowerPlan platform is being designed right now. Join us, and you'll have the opportunity to influence the technology, engineering practices, and capabilities that will shape it for years to come.
Success will be measured by how quickly you become a trusted technical voice across more than one domain, how reliably your code ships without accumulating technical debt, and by how much less the team depends on any single senior engineer for its hardest problems — including you.
