PowerPlan is looking for a Manager to lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of six to ten project managers delivering enterprise software implementation, upgrade, and optimization engagements. This is front-line leadership, not administration.
You'll establish evidence-based visibility into portfolio health, strengthen how your project managers apply the PMO operating model, and build PMs who can lead engagements independently. Success is measured by team capability and portfolio discipline, not by how many projects you personally have to rescue.
PowerPlan builds enterprise-grade tax, accounting, reporting, and workflow automation software for asset-intensive organizations in the energy industry, where financial accuracy, regulatory compliance, and operational reliability aren't optional — they're the product. As a Roper Technologies company, we combine the stability of a market-leading platform with the ambition of a team pushing PowerPlan NXT and AI-powered innovation forward.
Our Professional Services organization is the front line of that promise, delivering implementations, upgrades, SaaS migrations, and optimization engagements that turn PowerPlan's capabilities into measurable outcomes for the office of the CFO. As our portfolio grows, we're investing in the leadership, rigor, and operating discipline that make delivery predictable at scale — and this role sits at the center of that investment.
Within 90 days, you'll have delivered a formal portfolio-health baseline built on evidence, not confidence. Over the following months, you'll build PMs who lead with the operating model rather than just complete templates against it, and you'll be the person leadership trusts to catch a problem before it becomes a customer escalation.
