The Customer Success Manager (CSM) serves as the primary customer contact, maintaining and expanding relationships with all assigned strategic customers and is responsible for driving the ongoing attainment of positive outcomes for PowerPlan’s strategic customers. The primary responsibility is to become the “trusted advisor” to the customer, to make them successful with the products they have purchased, and ensure they are realizing economic value from their investments in order to preserve and expand PowerPlan’s future revenue. They act as internal champion and quarterback, coordinating the cross functional approach required for sustained customer success and growth. Key focus areas will include outcome attainment, retention, expansion, and customer advocacy.
CSMs work at all levels within a company. They are equally comfortable interacting with upper management to help illustrate how PowerPlan’s solutions support the company’s business goals in quarterly business reviews, as well as with the users of their solutions, coaching with domain expertise and helping implement best practices.
Customer success managers have a broad set of account management duties and work proactively with customers to ensure their ongoing success. The CSM is responsible for ensuring the satisfaction of all customers, while achieving revenue goals and assigned strategic account objectives.
