PowerPlan is seeking consultative, enterprise Software Sales Executives to sell our Integrated Platform of accounting, tax, planning, and regulatory suites. These solutions enable asset-intensive companies to improve earnings, generate more cash, mitigate compliance risk and support a culture of cost management. This is a New Business opportunity, and the ideal candidate is comfortable closing large deals and is used to an 18–24-month sales cycle.
PowerPlan drives significant benefits to the Office of the CFO by:
- Providing a realistic, credible, and detailed model of their fixed capital assets
- Integrating information across key departments, including asset accounting, income tax, property tax, budgeting, and project management, field operations, and regulatory,
- Centralizing, summarizing, and maintaining information across the entire history of each capital asset, and
- Offering industry best practice workflows to enhance decision-making.
- This highly consultative role also requires:
- Engineering or highly analytical Bachelor’s degree
- Expertise in solution selling and value-based selling methodologies
- Experience and comfort selling into C level executives
- Experience with selling to Energy companies (Utilities or Oil and Gas) is a plus but not required.
Additionally, potential candidates should have strong communication skills, with the ability to articulate customer problems and challenges, and then link them to the PowerPlan Value Proposition.

We are looking for a Solutions Engineer who will work with our Managed Services team to help clients understand their business objectives, priorities, challenges, and processes to develop solution recommendations. You will play a critical role in researching problems and delivering results for initiatives that are vital to the success of our customers.

To support our growth aspirations, we are looking for a Director to lead and build a Commercial Operations function. This role will play a key role in optimizing our commercial processes and strategies to drive revenue growth by building and managing a high-performing team that handles sales forecasting, reporting and analysis, account planning, CRM data management, territory assignments and incentive compensation, and commercial initiatives.

This person must be highly collaborative, a continuous learner, and a passionate builder of great people and teams. This person must also be able to quickly build credibility with the commercial leaders and team members. This position will report to the CFO with high visibility and interaction with the most senior commercial leaders at PowerPlan as well as the CEO.
The Customer Operations team at PowerPlan provides industry best customer experience for ongoing maintenance of the PowerPlan application. We are looking for a Technical Senior Support Analyst in our Product Support team who will contribute to the on-going success of PowerPlan’s customer experience. The Product Support team provides technical and functional expertise to ensure PowerPlan’s customers reach their business goals with the PowerPlan software. You will play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction by triaging, prioritizing and troubleshooting, including periodically reviewing application code, to identify an appropriate resolution of the issue. You will be responsible for providing continual communication to the customer during the span of issue resolution and escalating to senior resources as needed to ensure a positive customer experience is delivered. As a Technical Senior Support Analyst, you will enhance your critical thinking, technical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
An Analyst in the Professional Services organization implements PowerPlan’s software products and solutions to meet specific customer requirements. The Analyst will primarily interact with internal PowerPlan employees serving as their “customers/clients” for projects. As Analysts gain more experience, they will begin to interact with customers under the guidance of more senior PowerPlan personnel.
An Architect in the Professional Services, Accounting organization is responsible for implementing PowerPlan’s solutions to meet specific customer requirements. This position is expected to take on implementation projects of increasing challenge and complexity. Typically, the Architect will run the majority of design sessions, and in the case of the largest and most complex projects will defer to the guidance of a Solution Advisor. The Architect will be involved through a full project and is typically heaviest during design. They may hold the Solution Architect or Functional Lead project roles.
